Entrepreneurial CPA, Analyst Bring Payroll Vault to Growing Business Community
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Aug. 26, 2026 – Payroll Vault, the fastest growing, award-winning payroll franchise, announced today it has expanded in Louisville, Kentucky, signing a married couple with corporate finance and consulting expertise as its newest franchisee.
Entrepreneurs Brittney and Matt Cassin, who live with their two children in Louisville, purchased a Payroll Vault franchise to capitalize on their more than 20 years of experience. With a CPA, CIA and MBA, Matt provides a unique set of skills in accounting, finance and compliance. Brittney brings her background in consulting across multiple corporate functions, such as growth and acquisitions, operations and shared services, that leads to her problem-solving skills in all aspects of business operations.
“When Matt and I started exploring franchise opportunities, we knew there were a few ‘must haves’: a B2B model, an established but growing national presence, and a strong support network,” Brittney said. “Payroll Vault checked those boxes and then some. We appreciated the openness of the Payroll Vault corporate team throughout our discovery journey.”
Payroll Vault offers franchisees fully remote operating systems with 24/7 technical monitoring to support continuous operations that include recurring streams of revenue from monthly, quarterly and yearly transactions. Franchise Business Review recently recognized the franchise with seven industry awards, including “Best in Category” and “Top Franchises” as well as top honors in financial return, innovation, culture and support for women entrepreneurs.
“The Payroll Vault model continues to attract CPAs and married couples with vast corporate experience who are committed to sharing their leadership skills to help provide a boutique-style experience, which is missing in today’s business community for small and medium-sized businesses,” said Oakscale Franchise Partner’s President Joshua Kovacs, who manages franchise sales for the Payroll Vault brand. “As a franchise sales organization (FSO), we help franchisors and franchisees realize their vision with a complete package of award-winning technology, insightful training and effective marketing support.”
Brittney said hearing firsthand from other franchisees about how successful they have been with the Payroll Vault program was a strong sales point.
“The enthusiasm of the other Payroll Vault franchise owners really sealed the deal for me” she said. “Hearing owners in different states, in different phases of life, and different personalities consistently express so much positivity toward corporate support and toward each other was very compelling.”
Matt said the opportunity to help support small and medium-sized businesses grow in the town where they are raising their family was another compelling reason.
“Being a local community partner to small business is what has us most excited,” he said. “ I love learning, coaching, mentoring and teaching. “This franchise allows us to partner in our community's small business success, providing that consultative approach and being a trusted resource and referral partner. In addition, we get to meet so many new people through this partnership, and I love to learn how other people operate their business, and learn different perspectives that in turn can help us grow and thrive.”
3 Reasons Why CPAs, Married Couples Choose Payroll Vault
The award-winning franchise delivers several benefits to franchisees to support sustainable success:
Payroll Vault franchises offer entrepreneurs a low-risk, low-capital investment of less than $100,000 to set up an exceptional return on investment. The franchise’s business model, which provides year-long revenue streams on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, offers small and mid-size businesses a full suite of services that include payroll solutions, HR solutions, background checks, worker’s compensation and payroll funding.
Payroll Services provide franchise owners with a wealth of knowledge to support their success. Franchise owners receive manuals for operational systems, client engagement agreements, pricing models, set-up of ancillary services and vendor partners, as well as project management services with a checklist review from your support team.
Franchisees also receive in-depth sales training support to ensure they are up and running within 90 days. The three-day owners training program kicks off continuous support by providing a comprehensive sales program so franchise owners can start onboarding new clients.
During their spare time, the Cassins find themselves running from sports fields, volleyball courts and swimming pools to support their teenage children, Penny and Graham. Matt helps as a volunteer treasurer for St. Alberts’s the Great Sports Athletic Ministry, which includes fundraising for the annual fish fry.
“We love our town of Louisville and wanted an opportunity to engage with the heart of our community: its small business owners,” Brittney said. “We want small business owners in Louisville to be able to focus on the passions of their business, and partnering to support back office functions like payroll felt like a great way to help!”
